The aftermath...

Hey guys

As you all know we were splashed all over Dragons Den recently and whilst we took a bit of a battering, we came away with a very pleasing result! :) Obviusly we have had lots of exposure and as a result of this are selling out of EVERYTHING fast!! (Not complaining mind, but I'm sure you are!). We did plan for this as best as we could but you all want a pair!! :) Just to let you all know we will be fully stocked again early October so please pop back or pre-order your fave pair!

As Theo is now a new member of the WedgeWelly family, we just want to thank him for everything he and his fantastic team have done so far. He is a great team member!! I am thinking of giving him the informal job title 'The BELIEVER'!! As we all need someone to believe in us!

As you can imagine (or you may have seen?) we have been all over the local newspapers, BBC, Internet, Facebook, Twitter (we were even trending on Twitter when the show was aired and Dannii Minogue was even tweeting about us to all her fans!), we just want to thank everyone for their support and lovely messages. We couldn't do all this without you guys! :)

I am just in the process of designing the new line. Sooooo very excited about this one. We have a very special edition coming out in RED so a quick purchase for this is most definitely required.

Anyway, must dash, lots to do!!!

WedgeWelly enters the Dragons Den!

Hi guys

You may have already heard but we appear on Dragons Den tonight (9th August at 9pm). Make sure you tune in to see how nervous we all are :/ and what results we got! Was it worth it!!!?????? Or did we make a laughing stock of ourselves...either way, I suppose we can at least say we have been on National television so cheers to that :)

Wide Calf wonders

Hello fellow WedgeWellingtons!

We have decided to give our wonderful Curve (wide calf) range a proper introduction to the WedgeWelly family and have them christened (as we do) by welcoming them with a launch party! We will show our full range to all invited at Lazaat on the 16 September where we will sing, dance and drink champagne to say hello to the new lovelies. Always an excuse to throw a good party :)

I have to say I am loving Mark Ronsons new song at the moment Bang Bang Bang! If you havent heard it yet, check it out on spotify.com. Its class...Go RONSON! Lovely.

Anyway, we digress...I will soon be designing the new collection which I am really excited about :)) There will be a splash of red, a spray of love and of course, the good ol' timeless prints. Its going to be fresh, funky, all in all, a fun new selection for the Boutique.

Its getting closer!!! I am so excited and I'm not even going to Glasto!! Be sure to check out Mumford & Sons, LCD Soundsystem and most definitely Jamie T! Im hoping to catch the last day and if I make it The Temper Trap will be first on my list.

It seems that we are everywhere at the moment...not complaining of course :) I was at the dentist the other day and was nervously browsing through a magazine, and up pop WedgeWellys as this seasons must have festival wellies! Cool eh...

We don't need no sunshine!

All CLOGGED up!

Now is it just me, or like me, do you want to be able to purchase every pair of fabulous cloggs you see!? Hopefully you will realise that I am not talking about the famous wooden-block toed cloggs from Amsterdam, but the beautiful, stylishly irresistable ones from the high street which are being splashed about everywhere this season. God I love them, I am having real trouble trying to decide which ones to get and whether my money really should be better off spent on a well deserved, rather desperately needed new pair of gym trainers..? Mmm, running...or strutting in my gorgeous new cloggs?? Such a hard choice to make! I will let you know how that pans out...

Now please pay attention people! Our new stock is about to arrive any day now, and I am getting increasingly worried that if you havent already ordered your new style of WW for your summer festival, you may be a little disappointed. GET THEM ORDERED or you could miss out and have to wear some awful flat thing with the same design on as EVERYONE else on the campsite...NOT a good look! Dont say I didnt warn you ;)

Explosive new range

Hi guys...or depending on how lucky yo are, should I say VAV's (Volcanic Ash Victims)...

If you were/are stranded, I hope you make it back/there soon! :/ Here is some good news to brighten up your airport trip anyway...

We have our fabulous Curve range arriving with us VERY soon! These lucious babies have been carefully crafted for you girlies out there craving a wider fit welly. They include a 45cm shaft circumference and come in some spectacular designs. The wait is finally over girls, get your jeans tucked in!! To make our lovely Curve range feel at home with the rest of the 'crew', we had a little naming ceremony for them to invite them into our WedgeWelly family (as we do!). We got together with some champers and a couple of jam donuts, some great tracks in the background (mostly Kings of Leon as Sarah was present :)) and gave each and every one of the new bunch a knighthood! :) We are all now well and truly emotionally connected. Anyway, they will soon be ready for you to enjoy! Get your pre-orders in now in time for the festival season!

How excited am I to see the sun over the last couple of days! You know what that means...the Festo's are on their way. The line up for V is fabulicious, I am excited to see who's doing what for the rest of them, although sad to see there are no Killers touring :( Our thoughts are with you Flowers.

Helloooo you...

So, hope all you lovely girlies were'nt too disappointed with your fella's over the big V day! Good ol' Saint Valentine...he definitely enjoyed a bit of drama did'nt he!!!!??? Ever heard of a man who liked to cause an arguement with their better halves just for the fun of it? Oh yes, they are EVERYWHERE! :) So if this little message applies to you this year, don't be downhearted, I seriously think Sir Valentine was definitely in touch with his femanine side and was the only one that was ;) Keep trying eh! On the other hand, all you lucky ladies who did get spoilt rotten, I hope it was with a pair of WedgeWellys, as if not, he wasnt trying hard enough :)) x

I see the snow is refusing to budge over here, which is a really cool thing as it means I get to wear my wellys all the time and I am currently sporting Giraffe. Cant wait to try on some of the new pairs which will be with us soon. There will be so many choices, I will have to wear a different look on each foot...

Just seen Lady GaGa on the BRITS! She is sooo weird but sooo cool at the same time! And she dedicated her performance to Alexander McQueen, God love 'im. Such a waste. Thanks GaGa, you rock!

Bet your glad that long January is finally over and we have a short month to look forward to!? Hell yes, bring on the new wardrobe...

Hi y'all!

Sorry, we have just been to Alabama to meet with our USA WedgeWellingtons and I am still trying to wear the accent off. We had the best time whilst we were out there and I just want to send a big thank you to 'y'all' that made that happen for us. We can see big things happening with great people to make them happen. Thanks for your hospitality guys, we had a blast! :)) x

Now to more pressing issues, New Year Resolutions!? I would give you my list but I really don't think you have the time to read it what with having to conentrate on your own as well! I wonder how successful we will be at maintaining them this year?? Good luck!

We are doing a very exciting collaberation with a very BIG designer label which I cant spill too much on at the moment but watch this space...I will reveal plenty more very soon!

Till I get my plate full of turkey! I am so excited this year, especially now I have my Christmas box off my mum (well dont actually have my hands on it yet but its coming) and inside it there are some special blue suede over the knee stillettos! You know they are coming out on the big day! Along with my new jumper dress and fabulous two tone splash leggins!! Oh yes, and best dressed goes to...mwah! :)

I must admit, xmas clothes shopping is hard to decide on when you just want everything you see! I am loving these sequinned coloured mini cardi jackets which go great with T-shirt style dresses and a killer mini or some ripped jeans. Definitely my next purchase! Also loving the fury animal style coats in a pheasant kind of way...Topshop do a great one for £95.00. Great for after your xmas party when your waiting for that taxi in the rain. Leather look leggings and you're away.

Cant believe Joe won X Factor! Boo :( I so wanted Ollie to win! Never mind, I am sure that's not the last of him...come in MURS! Also, thanks to my friend who told me who won from the live show when I hadn't actually seen it yet as I was watching it on SKY plus! Super! ;) Also, can I just say, I finally saw Twilight the other night for the first time and OMG how in love am I with Edward! Love love love him!! Will definitely be watching the 2nd one...

Mistletoe and lots of wine!

Hi guys!

Well I am finally feeling human again, glass of wine in hand and ready to take on the world of festive fashion and proper crimbo's! Oh how I have missed the world of wine, fashion (lets face it, maternity wear is no Chanel) and dancing my ass off on a Saturday night in WedgeWelly style. Back on form now...well most of it, the Saturday nights are having to be curbed for now but back to the gym and turning my attention to those new designs you are all about to feast your eyes on in the new year. Keep a look out...

I hope you recessionistas are safely preparing for the Christmas holidays...remember, spend on only the neccessary things such as wine, nuts and WedgeWellys and leave the rest for everyone else to buy ;)

Make sure you have your wish list ready for Santa (whoever that may be)!? Funky footwear is top of my list and I have been a very good girl this year...!? :/

I still have a few to decide on for the next addition to the WedgeWelly family (which was due last Tuesday, can I just say....... it's obviously very cosy where it is....) but please let me comment on Brandon Flowers, front man of The Killers naming his second child "Gunner"!

Apparently he needed a masculine name to accompany his not so masculine surname??

OK Brandon, we will let you off because we love you so much, but if you have any more, PLEASE think long and hard ;)
