Wide Calf wonders

Hello fellow WedgeWellingtons!

We have decided to give our wonderful Curve (wide calf) range a proper introduction to the WedgeWelly family and have them christened (as we do) by welcoming them with a launch party! We will show our full range to all invited at Lazaat on the 16 September where we will sing, dance and drink champagne to say hello to the new lovelies. Always an excuse to throw a good party :)

I have to say I am loving Mark Ronsons new song at the moment Bang Bang Bang! If you havent heard it yet, check it out on spotify.com. Its class...Go RONSON! Lovely.

Anyway, we digress...I will soon be designing the new collection which I am really excited about :)) There will be a splash of red, a spray of love and of course, the good ol' timeless prints. Its going to be fresh, funky, all in all, a fun new selection for the Boutique.

Glastonbury Fever

Its getting closer!!! I am so excited and I'm not even going to Glasto!! Be sure to check out Mumford & Sons, LCD Soundsystem and most definitely Jamie T! Im hoping to catch the last day and if I make it The Temper Trap will be first on my list.

It seems that we are everywhere at the moment...not complaining of course :) I was at the dentist the other day and was nervously browsing through a magazine, and up pop WedgeWellys as this seasons must have festival wellies! Cool eh...

We don't need no sunshine!

All CLOGGED up!

Now is it just me, or like me, do you want to be able to purchase every pair of fabulous cloggs you see!? Hopefully you will realise that I am not talking about the famous wooden-block toed cloggs from Amsterdam, but the beautiful, stylishly irresistable ones from the high street which are being splashed about everywhere this season. God I love them, I am having real trouble trying to decide which ones to get and whether my money really should be better off spent on a well deserved, rather desperately needed new pair of gym trainers..? Mmm, running...or strutting in my gorgeous new cloggs?? Such a hard choice to make! I will let you know how that pans out...

Now please pay attention people! Our new stock is about to arrive any day now, and I am getting increasingly worried that if you havent already ordered your new style of WW for your summer festival, you may be a little disappointed. GET THEM ORDERED or you could miss out and have to wear some awful flat thing with the same design on as EVERYONE else on the campsite...NOT a good look! Dont say I didnt warn you ;)

What a comic relief!

How excited am I to see the sun over the last couple of days! You know what that means...the Festo's are on their way. The line up for V is fabulicious, I am excited to see who's doing what for the rest of them, although sad to see there are no Killers touring :( Our thoughts are with you Flowers.

Lady Saint Valentine

Helloooo you...

So, hope all you lovely girlies were'nt too disappointed with your fella's over the big V day! Good ol' Saint Valentine...he definitely enjoyed a bit of drama did'nt he!!!!??? Ever heard of a man who liked to cause an arguement with their better halves just for the fun of it? Oh yes, they are EVERYWHERE! :) So if this little message applies to you this year, don't be downhearted, I seriously think Sir Valentine was definitely in touch with his femanine side and was the only one that was ;) Keep trying eh! On the other hand, all you lucky ladies who did get spoilt rotten, I hope it was with a pair of WedgeWellys, as if not, he wasnt trying hard enough :)) x

I see the snow is refusing to budge over here, which is a really cool thing as it means I get to wear my wellys all the time and I am currently sporting Giraffe. Cant wait to try on some of the new pairs which will be with us soon. There will be so many choices, I will have to wear a different look on each foot...

Just seen Lady GaGa on the BRITS! She is sooo weird but sooo cool at the same time! And she dedicated her performance to Alexander McQueen, God love 'im. Such a waste. Thanks GaGa, you rock!

Baby names!!!

I still have a few to decide on for the next addition to the WedgeWelly family (which was due last Tuesday, can I just say....... it's obviously very cosy where it is....) but please let me comment on Brandon Flowers, front man of The Killers naming his second child "Gunner"!

Apparently he needed a masculine name to accompany his not so masculine surname??

OK Brandon, we will let you off because we love you so much, but if you have any more, PLEASE think long and hard ;)
